Family Camp 2008
You are invited to our New Forest Family Camp 26-28 September.
This is exactly what is says on the tin, Family Camp.
Everyone comes together for a weekend of fun and games, it is not run as a crèche so that you can leave the kids and go off shopping! If there are games organised then the adults are expected to join in as well as the children (you have been warned!)
The weekend
Friday night arrive and pitch camp
Later in the evening we all get together in someone’s awning for a drink and a chat, the kids usually play wide games in the forest, don’t worry the big ones look out for the little ones (we haven’t lost a child yet!)
Saturday morning can be free and the afternoon, games can be organised or a walk.
Saturday evening we have a joint barbeque where you supply your own food and barbeque, if you don’t have one there is usually one spare somewhere or space available. After eating we adjourn to the large marquee for a quiz or something with a few drinks for an entertaining evening.
Sunday morning the children sort out some games whilst the adults sit around drinking coffee and talking.
Sunday afternoon we break camp and go home.
If you would like to come but don’t have much camping equipment, ask around because someone always has something spare that can be loaned.
If you would like organised games for the Saturday then please indicate.
